☠️ Ailments

Ailments are negative status effects applied to Kaiju. Most ailments deal Damage-over-Time (DoT) at the start of each action. Characters with high Effect Hit Rate apply ailments more reliably.

Burn
Inflicts Fire Damage-over-Time at the start of the action.
Freeze
Inflicts Ice Damage-over-Time at the start of the action. Also delays the affected target's next action.
Poison
Inflicts DoT based on the target's Max HP at the start of the action. Maximum Poison damage is capped based on the applier's ATK.
Shock
Inflicts Lightning Damage-over-Time at the start of the action.
Soaked
Increases damage taken from Damage-over-Time.
Stun
Prevents the target from acting for a set number of turns. Also increases CRIT DMG taken when hit while stunned.
Taunt
The taunted target cannot choose targets other than the unit that applied Taunt.
Windbite
Inflicts Wind Damage-over-Time at the start of the action.
⬇️ Debuffs

Debuffs weaken Kaiju or create conditions that allies can exploit for increased damage. Unlike ailments, debuffs do not deal direct damage but amplify the damage output of the squad.

Fear
After an ally attacks a Kaiju in Fear state, deals Slash Additional DMG based on the applier's ATK × the stack count of Fear.
Gunshot Wound
After the applier activates Combat Skill or Ultimate against a Kaiju in Gunshot Wound state, deals Shot Additional DMG.
Ice Crystal
After an ally attacks a Kaiju in Ice Crystal state, deals Ice Additional DMG corresponding to the applier's ATK.
Mark
Increases DMG taken from Follow-Up Skill and Extra Attack.
Opening
Activates escalating effects based on the number of stacks applied to the Kaiju. Used by Soshiro Hoshina (New Possibilities).
Seen Through
After allies attack 5 times, removes Seen Through and randomly destroys 3 PLT. Attacks on a Core Exposed Kaiju do not count.
Shock Wire
Increases DMG taken from Damage-over-Time. After turn arrives, takes Lightning Damage-over-Time.
Tremble
Increases DMG taken from Additional DMG.
Wound
Increases DMG taken by the target. If the target is Core Exposed, increases DMG taken further.
Special Status

Special Status effects are buffs and unique states applied to allies. These are often tied to specific characters' kits and synergies.

Acceleration
Increases this unit's DMG dealt and SPD. After activating Combat Skill against a Core Exposed Kaiju, SP +1. Normal Attack, Combat Skill, and Follow-Up Skill cannot recover Ultimate Gauge.
Afterburn
Triggers 1 additional instance of DoT equal to a fixed percentage of the DoT the target is currently receiving from status changes.
Ardor
After an ally activates Ultimate, increases the activator's DMG dealt.
Assistance
Increases battle buddy's All-Attribute DMG dealt.
Berserk
Increases CRIT Rate and Shot DMG dealt. Combat Skill changes to Enhanced form. Can only activate Enhanced Combat Skill, Ultimate, and Follow-Up Skill.
Blaze
Decreases this unit's DMG dealt. Normal Attack changes into Enhanced Normal Attack.
Bold
After activating Combat Skill or Extra Attack, deals Slash Additional DMG.
Care Package
After an ally consumes 2 SP, recovers 2 SP and removes Care Package. Automatically removed when applied to another ally.
Chips
If at 1+ stacks, after activating Normal Attack, Combat Skill, or after an ally uses Combat Skill, Ultimate, Extra Attack, or Counter — activates Extra Attack.
Clarity
Increases this unit's CRIT DMG.
Combined Forces
After Bakko performs an action, activates Extra Attack.
Engrossed
Before activating Normal Attack or Combat Skill, recovers the activator's HP. After activating, if HP is 50%+, increases the activator's ATK.
Field Ops
After attacking, deals Shot Additional DMG corresponding to the attacker's ATK.
Fierce
Increases this unit's CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG.
Fighting Spirit
Increases this unit's DMG dealt and Ultimate DMG Multiplier.
Flare-Up
After an ally attacks a Kaiju in Flare-Up state, triggers a fixed percentage of the DoT the target is currently receiving from each status change. Max 7 activations.
Focus
Increases this unit's CRIT Rate after reaching max stacks.
Fury
Increases this unit's ATK and Shot DMG dealt. After Combat Skill, deals Shot Additional DMG to the target. After Combat Skill, applies a stack of Refinement to this unit. After Ultimate, consumes 1 Refinement stack. At max Refinement stacks, removes Fury and applies Pride.
Gift
Increases the target's ATK based on this unit's ATK upon application. Cannot be overwritten by weaker status changes of the same type.
Hot-Blooded
Increases DMG dealt, ATK, and SPD.
Hyped
Increases this unit's ATK and CRIT DMG.
Inheritance
Increases this unit's Ultimate Gauge Charge Rate. After Normal Attack, has a chance to apply DEF Down. After Combat Skill, has a chance to apply DEF Down.
Inner Flame
Increases this unit's DMG dealt and Ultimate DMG Multiplier.
Kaiju
Increases this unit's HP and SPD. Equipped weapons are unequipped and skills change. Lasts until end of battle.
Mark
Increases DMG taken from Follow-Up Skill and Extra Attack.
Mind's Eye
After activating an attack, has a chance to apply a DEF debuff to the target. After destroying a PLT or after attacking a Core Exposed Kaiju, applies CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG buffs to this unit. This unit's Normal Attack is enhanced.
Morale
Increases this unit's DMG dealt and Combat Skill DMG dealt.
Opening
Activates effects based on the number of stacks applied to the Kaiju.
Patience
After turn arrives, recovers target's HP.
Prestige
Increases all allies' CRIT DMG. This unit's Normal Attack is enhanced. Greatly increases the chance of this unit being targeted by Kaiju.
Pride
After Combat Skill, recovers 1 SP. Removed after activating Ultimate.
Progress
Increases this unit's CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG after reaching max stacks.
Refinement
Stacks gained while in Fury after Combat Skill, consumed after Ultimate. At max stacks, all are consumed and Fury transitions into Pride.
Resolve
Increases this unit's Blunt DMG dealt and Ultimate DMG Multiplier.
Resonance
This unit's Combat Skill is enhanced.
Sass
Stacks gained after Enhanced Normal Attack or Ultimate. At max stacks, consumes all Sass and applies Evasion Rate, Additional DMG Multiplier to self and Additional DMG CRIT Rate to all allies.
Seen Through
After allies attack 5 times, removes state and randomly destroys 3 PLT. Attacks on Core Exposed Kaiju do not count.
Stealth
Will not be targeted by Kaiju attacks. Becomes a selectable target if all allies are in Stealth state.
Surveillance
After attacking, if the attacker's HP is 50% or less, recovers the attacker's HP.
True Potential
Increases the target's CRIT DMG based on the applier's CRIT DMG upon application. Cannot be overwritten by weaker status changes of the same type.
Valor
When at max stacks, after activating Combat Skill or Ultimate, deals Blunt Additional DMG to the target.
Wit and Courage
Increases ATK for all other allies. Cannot be overwritten by weaker status changes of the same type.
Wrath
If at 3+ stacks, after attacking, consumes 3 stacks and activates Extra Attack.
